Exilis Treatment: Tighten Your Skin For Summer

Exilis on Female Neck Before and After | Atlanta Skin CareAre you trying to get your body ready for the summer? If so, then you should consider getting Exilis. Exilis is a skin tightening and fat reduction procedure that uses a device to deliver thermal energy to the deep layers of the skin.

This procedure does not remove fat from the body, but it causes the fat cells to breakdown. This is a process called lipolysis. Exilis also increases collagen production, which is what causes the skin to tighten. This procedure can be performed on the tummy, back, arms, thigh, buttocks, neck, jowls and face.

A good candidate for Exilis is person who is healthy and at least 25 years old. This is a great choice if you are looking to improve your appearance without getting surgery. Pregnant women are advised to wait six weeks after they give birth to get Exilis. This treatment is not recommended for breastfeeding women. Furthermore, if you have not noticed improvement in stubborn fat areas with lifestyle changes, then Exilis might be for you.

Not only will you notice fat reduction and skin tightening after you get Exilis, but you will also notice that your skin looks younger. A standard treatment session lasts between 30 and 45 minutes. Most people need between four and six treatments before they notice the full results. The treatments are scheduled one or two weeks apart from one another. You may notice the results immediately after getting your treatment; however, the results will continue to improve over the course of three to six months.

You can return to your normal activities after you get Exilis. You should not experience any pain during or after you get this treatment. However, you should make sure that you drink plenty of water after you get this treatment in order to prevent dehydration. You may notice some pinkness in the areas that were treated with Exilis, but that will usually go away within 15 to 30 minutes.
