KYBELLA® (deoxycholic acid) is the first and only FDA approved injectable treatment to improve the appearance of moderate to severe fat below the chin. KYBELLA works by being injected into unwanted fat cells and destroying them.  The body then naturally metabolizes the destroyed cells.

Men and women can be treated with KYBELLA. More than one treatment may be necessary to achieve desired cosmetic outcome. These treatments are spread out 6-8 weeks. KYBELLA is administered in the office and usually takes about 30 minutes from start to finish.

Most common side effects are swelling, bruising, tenderness, redness, numbness, and areas of hardness. Side effects usually resolve within a week and results are gradual over the next 4-6 weeks.
