This non-surgical, celebrity practice is offered to patients in the Alpharetta, Cumming, Milton, Roswell, Johns Creek, South Forsyth, North Fulton and Atlanta metro area communities at Georgia Dermatology Center at a price you don’t have to be a celebrity to afford. It’s more than just resurfacing of the outer layers of the skin, it’s a deep laser skin rejuvenation process. Profractional utilizes an erbium:YAG laser which has the ability to vaporize tissue with very little thermal conduction resulting in minimal procedure discomfort. The beauty of the ProFractional laser is that it treats one micro portion of the skin surface at a time. The thousands of micro columns receive the appropriate amount of laser energy to vaporize the marred surface layer of skin while also stimulating new collagen growth of surrounding tissue. It only removes a small percentage of the upper layer of skin, resulting in faster healing, typically 7 to 10 days, and reduction in the length of time one goes about “pink”. The laser can be set at varying intensities depending on the age, skin condition, and desired outcome of the patient. Healing times are generally shortened at milder intensities, and non-smokers typically experience more effective results.
ProFractional Laser treatment offers multiple skin renewal benefits:
Following the initial recovery time, when swelling, peeling, a little ooze and discoloration typically occur, skin will be visibly smoother and tighter looking within about a month and sun damaged areas appear more evenly toned. As new collagen forms the tightening effects continue over the next several months, and it is generally held that the collagen remodeling process is permanent. Although results vary for each particular client, one typically can expect a reduction in the physical appearance of 8 to 10 years. So you’ll be the one at your 40th High School reunion that looks like you should be at your 30th reunion! Take a look at our Before and After Resurfacing Gallery to see for yourself.

Georgia Dermatology Center has now partnered with Olansky Dermatology & Aesthetics. This partnership gives our patients added confidence and convenience when choosing the right source for their skin-related medical needs.
Our acclaimed providers, staff, and top-tier level of service will remain the same, Dr. Gross will be here to lead the charge at our Cumming office. We will continue to provide our patients with the same quality care and excellent service that has made us the “Best of Forsyth” for eight years in a row.
Georgia Dermatology Center’s suite of services will be increased by several additions. These include Mohs surgery, an advanced surgical procedure that removes skin cancer effectively using only local anesthesia. Additionally, this partnership will allow our patients to take advantage of a larger group of accepted insurance options. This widens the scope of patient access without incurring out-of-network fees.
The end result of this merger will only heighten patient care, and that is our primary mission.
